When your wife or kid makes a mistake, do you stand up and scream at the top of your lungs that they're idiots, a fucking embarrasment to your family, have destroyed your good name?

If you tell your kid, "Hey buddy, it's a mistake, don't beat yourself up. We learn from our mistakes and we move on", does that mean you're "celebrating" his mistake?

    See what I mean?

And yeah of course you blame Bush, but remember Obama ran to fix all that. Remember hope and change, but all Obama has done is make matters worse.
So you're saying that Obama shouldn't have spent one cent on continuing the two wars, which accounts for about 20% of that $3 trillion?

You're saying that he should have defunded the wars and brought everyone home the third week of January, 2009?

You're saying he should have ignored the unfunded Medicare D liability, which accounts for about 5% that total?

And on extending the Bush tax cuts, which cost over $800 billion, or more than a quarter of that $3 trillion, you're saying he should have raised taxes instead?

Seems all of this shit is continued Bush spending, or spending on Bush stuff that was never paid for.

But thx for saying that both wars should have been defunded and everyone brought home the third week of January, 2009, cause that would've been pretty nice.

Cons are for over $800 billion on spending when it comes to tax cuts, but are against the over $1.6 trillion deficit this year because half that amount is tax cuts. Lovely.

Obama is not my wife or kid, he is the president of the US and I can criticize him all I want however I want. He is an embarrassment to this country, and for a president to make such stupid mistakes, shows we have a dummy for a president.

Of course you won't agree with me, as you want to treat him like your stepchild. Now go along sonny and be a nice boy and try and learn from your mistakes. Just don't make any really bad mistakes, like sending a few nukes into Russia.

Well, if Obama doesn't invade the wrong country or lose jobs at the rate of 800,000/month I guess we can be contented.

The Queen gives him an awkward look and everyone else ignores him. He's just standing there with his arm raised looking dopey. To top it off, TOTUS (Teleprompter Of The United States) wasn't there so he had to stare at the table and read the toast off three by five cards.

I don't understand all these HE'S AN EMBARRASSMENT! comments, at least from this incident. If anyone is at fault it was probably the orchestra but, more importantly, who the fuck gives a shit who was at fault? That some of you would harp on something so petty says a lot about you. The whole thing was good for a slight chuckle and that's about it.

You cant accept it and shake it off and blame the fucking band....Its the bands fault... wow the whole world was bush's fault, the reason drive through sucked was bush's fault... Wrong, he said with his trillion dollar stimulus unemployment would not go above 8%. It went to 10% and has been holding for months at 9 or above.
This is one of many of his huge mistakes.

To your 800,000 a month comment, I guess if we continued to lose 800,000 jobs long enough no one in the US would have a job. Obama would have been better off doing nothing, but instead he ran up our national debt and the unemployment is far higher than in the Bush days.

Dick I know you love to try and save Obama and keep him propped up, as though he was your stepchild, but sorry, he's useless.

Yes, clearly I'm a liberal.

Fuck up? He started to talk then the orchestra started to play. I wouldn't call it a fuck up to begin with but if we're going to call it a fuck up, it's hard to see how it was his fuck up - unless you're just looking for reason to hate Pres. Obama that is. That you continue to harp on something so insignificant says a real lot about you and none of it is positive.

We get it: You hate Democrats. OK ...

This is hilarious. Who is it that is always finding ways to blame Clinton or Obama for GW's screw-ups. Who is that has been desperately trying to give GW credit for killing bin Laden? Who is it that says the peace and prosperity of Clinton's time was because of the Republican Congress, yet the bad times in GW's presidency, with the very same Congress, are the fault of Clinton.

What about Newt's moral high ground, and his claim that he banged his secretary because he is a patriot.

    Now, that's pretty funny.

I agree. The fact that so many people jump on every little details of what could possibly be a very minor mistake (and not necessarely a mistake made by the President, but that is immaterial) to bash President Obama seems awfully obsessive.
It also seems to be a very clear statement that these people have NOTHING important, nothing meaningful to criticise President obama. . .or they wouldn't waste their time on such trivia!

I was. Well, not here on USPO, but in another two forums.

And although I didn't think Bush was a good, or a strong President,I didn't dislike him half as much as I disliked Cheney.

And even then, I didn't see the point of bashing the President of this country.
