Is this a restriction of Free Speech? - I think I agree with Occupy on this one HR 347

    President Obama Signs “Anti-Protest” Bill H.R. 347

Representative Justin Amash, R-Michigan, explains this change by saying:

“ The bill expands current law to make it a crime to enter or remain in an area where an official is visiting even if the person does not know it’s illegal to be in that area and has no reason to suspect its illegal
So basically, if we want to we can arrest you for being somewhere even if it is not posted or reasonable for you to know you are breaking the law.

I understand ignorance of the law is never an excuse but this sounds more like deliberately setting someone up.

This is also a case of so called Republicans who are going stupid. Okay they are stupid to begin with but this is more than normal. As I have said many times, doesn't matter if an R or D is in front of your name, a career congresscritter is the problem. Term Limts and repeal the 17th.

I find the most troublesome part to be the definition of "officials". Where is the limit? The clerk at the permits building could be considered an official. My mother in law is a notary among othe things and is an official when it comes to paperwork...would she be an official?

    Herpa derp.

Move along nothing to see here.

Do not connect the dots with attempts at SOPA/PIPA, OPEN Act still in committeed

Enemy Expatriation Act - President can strip you of your citizenship

    NDAA and indefinite detention

Executive order that allows the President to assassinate American citizens

    H.R. 347

And now the National Defense Resources Preparedness - President can take over all US resources (anything) during emergency and non-emergency situations

Nothing to see here though, move along...

Sure a violation of the first amendment. Congress made a law which clearly restricts peaceful assembly. OTOH, everyone probably agrees there are some places people cant go, to protect lives and property. How should you deal with the conflict?

I am a very hard sell when it comes to conspiracy and such. I need to see all the facts and then I still need time to decide.

I am really starting to be concerned between everything you mentioned above. You also forgot, I believe the name was. military commission act of 2007. Suspension of Habeas Corpus if I remember right and if the government wants they can call you an enemy combatant and make you disappear, no trial nothing you be gone.
