FORUM RULES, IN ADDITION TO THE DISCLAIMER

1. These rules apply to all sections of USPOL, including public and private forums, blogs, and visitor messages.

2. You cannot attack and/or personally insult someone. You cannot bait other forum members; this includes referring to posters by derogatory terms. Please, remain courteous and respectful to all forum members at all times. You agree to take responsibility for reporting such posts when you come across them. Please, use the ignore feature if need be. Any member who intentionally and continually posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response, or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion, may be regarded as a troll by staff, and have their account suspended or banned.

3. You cannot harass (sexually or otherwise) other members. This includes malicious, slanderous, or defamatory comments. If you are not sure if something you write is inappropriate or not then don't say it. Err on the side of caution.

4. Copying and Pasting Articles, and Starting New Threads. You cannot simply cut and paste in posts or when starting threads. You MUST provide the identifying information (source, author, date, and URL). You must also offer some original thoughts along with the cut and paste. You may copy and paste an excerpt or series of excerpts from the article. Excerpts really shouldnt be more then a paragraph or two. Furthermore, if you use images or other copyrighted material in your posts or signature you must have permission of the copyright holder unless you know for a fact that the image is in the public domain. In addition:
a. It must include the identifying information; e.g., where available, the author, the publication, the date, the URL.
b. The member must offer some context, including: How did you hear of this article? What is your opinion? Why is it important to you? Why should it be important to forum readers? The more context you provide, the more you assist others in gauging the excerpted information's significance.
c. You may copy and paste an excerpt or series of excerpts, not the whole thing or even the majority of the whole thing to encourage people to read the entire article.

A violation of any of the above will result in the deletion or closing of the post or thread and could earn you a warning or suspension. If you have any questions concering any of the above please PM a moderator and we will be happy to clarify.

5. You cannot post the same thing in multiple forums. You must not open similar threads about the same or a similar topic. You cannot spam the board or send unsolicited messages to members via PM, email or any other means.

6. Do not post off-topic. You cannot derail a thread with off topic posts.

7. You cannot shout in posts. This includes posting in all CAPS, bold, lIkE tHiS, and extra large font. Posts should also be one color, although you may use an additional color for highlighting ideas you wish to address.

8. You may not alter quotes in a way that misrepresents what was originally said.

9. Multiple accounts are not allowed. If you are found to have more than one account all accounts will be permanently terminated.

10. You cannot have a user name, avatar, signature, or post images that are deliberately offensive. That includes the display of overly explicit or graphic images that may not be suitable for minors.

11. Signatures can not have more than three lines of text, with a font size no larger than "4", and no more than two font colors. Images in signatures cannot be any larger than 800 pixels wide x 200 pixels tall. Animated images are not allowed.

12. You are prohibited from taking any action to disturb the use of the services by others, distribute material that contains viruses, spyware or any other malicious code or harmful programs. This includes interfering with the working of the network, attempts to gain unauthorized access to a service or other computer systems that are part of the site or any other site, by use of the available services.

13. Discussion of moderation actions in public and/or private forums is not permitted. Moderation actions include warnings, suspensions and the editing or deletion of posts. If a member has a concern about a moderation action, he or she is invited to address it with the board staff via Private Message. This rule exists to protect the privacy of all posters with regards to disciplinary action. The moderator team will never publicly discuss the warnings/suspensions of any posters, and we ask that you return the favor, whether about yourself or another poster. Posting about moderation actions in the public forums constitutes a violation. You are free to discuss a moderation action via Private Message with the moderator involved, but you may not harass or abuse the moderators (as already specified in the forum rules). In practical terms, this means that once a moderator tells you his or her decision is final, no further PMs about that moderation action are permitted. If you have a concern about a moderation action, you are free to appeal to a Forum Administrator via Private Message. You may only discuss moderator activities or discussion of moderation with staff member if you chose to private message and are not under any circumstances allowed to use the PM function to forward or promote moderator discussion in regards to specific forum action, amongst other regular members. Administrators do reserve the right to read said PMs and may do so ; if that results in discovery of messaging between posters of such moderator discussion then it will lead to the same violation being received for discussing said moderator actions on the forum. If you receive a message to the effect of having been given moderator information, please report it to a member of staff. Engaging back in that discussion with the original violator will earn you just as stiff a sanction.

14. Do not ignore moderators or administrators. Do not repost something a moderator or administrator has deleted. You cannot have moderators or administrators on your ignore list.

15. Only post in English. Short passages in foreign languages may be acceptable if its use seems helpful for the ongoing discussion and when there is no indication of a potential violation of the forum rules. Always provide a translation into English in such cases. In case of doubt, the incident will be regarded as a violation, no matter of the actual meaning of the foreign language text.

16. The use of words/comments etc. written by other posters, without approval of the poster in your personal signature is not allowed nor are references, by name, to other posters allowed.

17. Please pay attention to announcements by Forum staff that will be found in the "Welcome! / News & Announcements" forum from time to time.

18. Use of "liar", "lies", "lying", etc. Accusing someone of being a "liar" or similar accusations towards other posters will generally be regarded as implying an insult and therewith as a violation of the forum rules. "I question the validity of your statement because...", "That's not the truth" or "you are wrong about that" are sufficient for any decent discussion if you want to disagree with somebody's assertions.

19. Thread opening restriction for new members. In order to control SPAM, new members must have moderator approval to start their own threads.

20. Thread titles must relate to the discussion within. Do not make misleading titles, or titles such as "Guess what..." or "You'll never believe this...". Members need to be able to identify the general gist of the thread via the title. Profanity in thread titles is not permitted.

21. Forum members are instructed to use forum tools and abilities for their intended purposes and no other. If members identify a forum glitch or weakness of any kind that allows you to see or do something you know you shouldn't, please report it. Being aware of any unintended access to the Forum and failing to take appropriate steps to notify staff of said access issues, will create a presumption of seeking to take advantage of the issue, will result in either account suspension, or banishment.

22. Any link to a site that contains graphic content, must contain a warning describing what a person might reasonably expect to view if they click on said link. No graphic pictures are to be posted on the Forum.

23. Threats or advocations of violence toward a public figure, or member of the Forum, will not be tolerated. Conversation about revolution or the like is not prohibited by this rule; directly calling for violence is, eg It's time to kill every <redacted> that voted for the bill, is not permitted.

24. Accounts with no posts will be deleted after 30 days. Inactive accounts with low post histories may be deleted after one year.

25. Private forums are something offered to members that decide to contribute directly to this site via donations. These donations help immensely in keeping this site up and running. Private forums are designed to allow the contributing member discuss whatever he/she wants to and to have the power to direct that discussion in whatever way he/she chose. They were not designed nor are they intended for simply talking trash about members that don't have access to the forum. While the targeted members cannot see the forum or the comments, it creates a negative atmosphere that really isn't necessary. If you want to totally rip apart ideas, ideologies, political parties, etc. that is fine. We simply ask that you don't use the private forums as a means to attack other members that aren't privy to such comments. It is difficult enough to have a political discussion forum because the discussion of politics is inherently heated as people are so passionate about their beliefs...the ones that take the time to come to such a site in the first place at least. The idea of private forums is so people of similar political persuasions can discuss whatever they want without fear of being attacked. Nonetheless, we hope that a certain level of maturity would foster itself within such an arena and not simply lend itself to a bashing forum.

Private Forums are governed by all of the above Forum rules. In addition:
  • Private forums that essentially become abandoned homes will be subject to deletion, donation or reorganization. Just like elsewhere in life, clubs sometimes lose their vitality and purpose for a myriad of reasons. If it becomes clear that a private forum has clearly lost its vitality and nobody is going to really use it anymore, owners are advised to consider whether to reuse the forum for something new and productive rather than let them linger or notify the Administration that the forum should be rearranged for other purposes, closed, merged with other compatible private forums, donated to others for new purposes, etc. Do not be concerned that your forum must be a membership and post count race with others to avoid falling under this policy; the question is whether your forum has actual vitality instead of being 'brain dead.'
  • Additionally, private forums may only be owned by subscribed members in the Platinum or Diamond categories.
  • Should the owner of a private forum be banned, quit USPOL or otherwise abandon the forum the PF will be transferred to another owner or closed.
  • Propriety of private forums. Administration staff will determine the desirability of a proposed private forum and enact any conditions upon it to ensure its purpose is productive.
  • Any and all instances of sharing accounts by allowing someone else to log in under their own account so they can see into private forums for which they are otherwise not permitted to access, will be deemed violation of the double account rule and all caught doing so will be permanently banned.
  • Relaying private forum posts and information to other posters who are not members of the particular private forum for any negative or destructive purpose (eg mean-spirited gossip, fueling interpersonal disputes, etc), is not permitted, and will constitute a violation of the Forum rules.
  • For purposes of monitoring USPOL Terms of Service Administrative staff (not Moderators) will have access to Private Forums.
  • All Private Forums must have at least one active Administrator as a member for purposes of handling issues which cannot be addressed through moderation permissions.
  • Discussion of moderation activities is prohibited on the open site and is likewise prohibited in Private Forums.

26. The administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit and/or delete a post,and/or close a thread, and/or delete a thread at any time if of the opinion that the post is too obscene, inappropriate, or the discussion has run its course.

27. 'Back seat moderating' is not allowed. If you take issue with another poster's contribution to the forum, you're welcome to report any posts you think are out of line, but you should not bring it up publicly within the forum.

28. Images in posts (whether embedded or hot linked) must be reasonable in size. 800x800 should be considered a good rule of thumb. Excessively large images make it difficult for users on mobile devices to load pages. If necessary please simply link to very large images using the URL tags. In addition, the following images are not permitted (including, but not limited to pages with images or videos containing):
  • Strategically covered nudity
  • Sheer or see-through clothing
  • Lewd or provocative poses
  • Close-ups of breasts, buttocks, or crotches

29. Any solicitation or communication involving sports betting / gambling / online casinos / bookies and or internet based card or slot machine systems or sites will lead to all said content being physically removed from the site and server, and will lead to any and or all parties involved being permanently removed and banned from the site to the farthest extent possible. This includes any links to any form of bookmaker, casino, any type of game or match or event where money transfers on the outcome or link of any sort to wire act violations and or anything in violation of either the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act, Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006, or the Federal wire Act. This applies not only to the open forum but all and or any chat rooms, articles, private messages and or private forums. All content that violates this rule will be deleted, without notice.

CONSEQUENCES

Failure to comply with any of the forum rules may result in your posts being edited or deleted and/or your account being temporarily or permanently banned from the forums. U.S. Politics Online uses a warning system that generates an automated Private Message to members when they are in violation of Forum rules. The decision to issue a warning is left to the discretion of the moderator or administrator handling the violation. If a member does not agree with an action taken by a moderator, they can appeal to an administrator after seeking clarification from the moderator who issued the warning/infraction and appealing to them in the first instance. Members MAY NOT harass a moderator or administrator by sending excessive PMs when they are discussing an appeal.

Violations are assigned a point value. Points are valid for 30 days. When a members earns 10 points, their account will be automatically suspended: five (5) days for a first suspension; ten (10) days for a second suspension; and twenty (20) days for a third suspension. If a member incurs an additional 10 points after having served three periods of suspension, then they will be permanently banned from the Forum.

Point values are as follows:
Zero (0) points Warning
Two (2) points - Minor infraction / Non post infraction (minor) / Off topic posts / spamming
Four (4) points - Academic dishonesty / Baiting / Discussing moderator or administrator actions / Implying an insult / Minor insults / Moderate infraction / Non-post infraction (moderate) / Thread dumping
Six (6) points - Direct insult at another member / major infraction / Non-post infraction (major)
Ten (10) points - Act of criminality, or advocating thereof

The administrators and moderators also bear the right to issue warnings, temporarily suspend or ban posters for continued trolling or other serious misconduct (eg. professional spamming) even if the poster has not yet reached the maximum warning points or suspensions level. Other options if the above consequences do not seem adequate include placing the member in a moderation queue, which means all posts will have to be approved before they are posted to the board.

Why are so many leftists delusional ? They're delusional !

    ..yes ! They ARE !

Because they hate, because they rage....

    --------------------------------------------------

In the Age of Trump, every few weeks Americans are literally saturated, courtesy of the news media, with the latest version of the D.C. establishments Trump narrative.

A narrative is simply a story. But what if the story is not just false, but insane? What then?

    Lets find out.

First, lets review the official establishment narrative since Donald J. Trump was elected president last November: Trump is a fascist and white supremacist whose political rise is ominously reminiscent of Hitlers. He stole the presidency from Hillary Clinton by secretly colluding with Russia to hack Americas democracy. His fellow Republicans are selfish, mean-spirited people who care only about themselves and their super-rich friends and want to deny health care to poor children. Republicans are also racist and anti-immigrant after all, Trump once claimed all Mexicans are rapists and, therefore, are always trying to prevent minorities from voting. Republicans likewise have contempt for the environment and are content to pollute or overheat it until its uninhabitable by the human race and we all die. Most recently, armies of white supremacists and neo-Nazis have been turning up everywhere. And Trump is mentally ill and unfit for office.

[ Lies powered by ... drumroll please ... Liberal HATE !! Applied very liberally ! ]

Democrats, on the other hand, are forward-thinking, tolerant, peace-loving and morally superior folk, champions of the common man, especially the many minority groups cruelly oppressed by Republicans. Abortion, a cherished constitutional right that simply involves the removal of unwanted tissue from a womans body, is constantly under attack by intolerant anti-choice religious fanatics. The same oppressive bigots also target LGBTQ Americans, even though everyone knows homosexuality and same-sex marriage are perfectly wholesome and moral. Likewise, transgenderism is absolutely normal, with gender identity now understood by science to be fluid, encompassing many possible gender choices far beyond Western societys oppressive binary male-female paradigm. Islam, a beautiful religion of peace, has nothing to do with terrorism; in fact, studies prove most terror attacks are actually perpetrated by white supremacists and neo-Nazis. This great divide in America between ignorant, racist, theocratic right-wingers and moral, compassionate, enlightened progressives has been playing out for generations. In fact, Adolf Hitler was a far-right Christian fascist Nazi whose ultraconservative racist views led to the Holocaust. Which brings us back to Donald Trump.

[ More lies powered by ... drumroll please ...Liberal HATE !! Applied very liberally ! ]

Such is the fabric of todays wildly delusional left-wing mindscape, the story line so many Democrats embrace their narrative.

Yet these views and similar ones, which comprise the very warp and weft of the narrative espoused daily by college students, Democrat politicians, progressives and mainstream journalists, are reflective not of reality, but of a bizarrely dark Alice-in-Wonderland fantasy realm in which the left increasingly dwells.

    [ A fantasy-land of hate & resentment ]

Lets peer down the rabbit hole and see if we can let some light in.

Its been said that one definition of insanity is starting with a disastrously flawed premise and then arguing and acting perfectly from it. For example, ISIS members are totally dedicated to a medieval Islamic worldview. Convinced theyre restoring world civilization to a divinely mandated seventh-century legal system by following a literalist interpretation of the Quran, they believe theyre ushering in their much-anticipated last-days Apocalypse. With this as their premise, everything ISIS does every propaganda video, every battle, every hideous atrocity makes perfect sense to them.

Even a garden-variety jihadists acts are quite understandable in light of his catastrophically faulty underlying premise: He has been indoctrinated (radicalized) to believe the creator of the universe is so angry with him that upon death hell spend eternity in a fiery, shameful, loathsome Islamic hell. However and heres his one and only escape route if he just blows himself up in jihad say, while killing, maiming and mutilating as many innocent little teenage girls as possible at a rock concert the creator of the universe will benevolently smile on him and forgive not only his own sins, but also those of his entire family who otherwise were probably heading for hell, too. Moreover, the moment the first drop of his blood is shed in jihad martyrdom, he will feel no pain but be instantly transported to paradise, where he will recline on soft green cushions and be fed the choicest meats and fruits forever while 72 beautiful black-eyed virgins endlessly satisfy his sexual lusts.

Its almost impossible to conjure up a more wildly evil and criminally insane delusion, but there it is and a lot of people believe it.

The point is, if you embrace an insane premise, you will probably act in an insane manner.

Now lets bring the discussion closer to home.

Consider abortion: If a fetus (remember, thats what we call a baby human prior to emerging from his or her mother) is simply unwanted tissue like a tumor, as Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics have counseled millions of desperate young women for decades, then not only is abortion perfectly fine, but anyone opposing it is a dangerous lunatic. After all, can you imagine people marching, picketing and praying outside a hospital to protest the removal of tumors?

[ No. Still, an unborn fetus or infant is not a tumor. Unless we play games with words, like we do with gay "marriage" ... why THEN a baby CAN be a tumor ... or even a rotten pomegranate, or bad toast or ... ! ]

Thus there is only one overriding issue here: If the fetus is just a tumor-like mass of tissue, you can get rid of it any time and any way you want; if its a baby, youre killing a precious human being.

[ So we redefine things to make ourselves free of guilt, free of sin, free of . . whatever we wish to free ourselves from ! How perfectly convenient !! ]

Again, its crucial that our underlying premises be reality based.

If homosexual sex really and truly is normal, healthy and moral, then the Bible is flat-out wrong and both Christianity and Judaism are false religions (and Islam, too). Likewise, if the core LGBT premise that homosexuality is an immutable, inborn genetic trait like race is true, then having a religious or moral objection to it is essentially the same as being a racist. Which is exactly what the left believes today.

Speaking of racism, the lefts foremost narrative plot line is that America is a deeply racist country. Inherent in that grand story line are many sub-plots: President Trump and most Republicans are racist, Americas police and criminal justice system are racist, Confederate flags and statues are symbols of racism, Americas founders including Washington, Jefferson and Madison were slave-holding white racists so statues of them should also be torn down and buildings named after them renamed. Today, all white people even those who have never spoken or thought a single racist word in their lives are guilty, if not of overt racism, then of benefiting from racism due to their white privilege. Repeat: To todays left, you are literally guilty simply for being white!

[ Yes, perfect ! All white people a racists !!! Nazis most likely ! ]

But how does America is racist stand up as a core premise?

In reality, the United States of America is the least racist nation on earth. Remember, while only 13 percent of Americas population is black, voters and that means tens of millions of white voters twice elected a black man as their president! There is neither evidence nor rational argument to support the claim that America is a racist nation. America fought its bloodiest war ever to end slavery, and racial segregation ended when, during the 60s Civil Rights Movement, the great American middle class literally changed its views on segregation in a single generation, embracing Martin Luther Kings noble dream of a color-blind America where people would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

[ This just serves as proof that our elections ARE rigged WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY ! We twice elected a black man. Next, WE ELECTED DONALD TRUMP !?!?!? Definitely rigged elections ! ]

Why, then, does the left still wield accusations of racism! as its weapon of choice and why do so many Americans embrace the rest of the lefts equally delusional narrative?

    [ Shh, stop talking about this . . . ]

One highly visible part of the leftist coalition is the millions of college students who last year idolized a cranky old socialist (or aging hippie communist as Rush Limbaugh put it) named Bernie Sanders. These young people enthusiastically agreed that free college, free health care and free everything else sounded really great.

Of course it sounds great! The problem is, most of these young people are immature, inexperienced and dont know much of anything, including how a healthy economy works and what little they do know is mostly wrong, because of what theyve been taught. We send our kids to wildly left-wing colleges and then when they actually believe what theyve been taught, were surprised! Theyre taught America is a malevolent, imperial, racist superpower and that biblical morality is an ignorant, oppressive, superstitious relic of past centuries. They are not taught about why America is exceptional, or about free-market economics and capitalism, or about the Constitution and Americas brilliant and uniquely enlightened system of government, or why Christianity has so successfully served as the moral foundation of America and Western Civilization for centuries.

Then theres the lefts leader class, those who actually know that much of what they espouse daily in the political arena particularly their constant demonization of well-meaning Christians and conservatives is nothing more than weaponized rhetoric. It may be untrue, cruel and defamatory, but that doesnt matter. All that matters is that its effective in battle.

At the pinnacle of this group (at least politically) are top Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, who by the way look and sound mentally ill. Then you have highly ambitious politicians like Chuck Schumer who are so ravenously hungry to return to power that theyll literally say and do anything, espouse any beliefs, defend any lies and attack any Republicans, all to regain the power they so desperately covet.

Theres no lower limit to the embarrassing craziness of the lefts delusional narrative: Not only are all whites guilty of the crime of being white, but California legislators want to put you in jail for a year for failing to use the correct pronoun for transgendered people, and feminist icon Gloria Steinem now claims its pro-lifers who are causing global warming. (Listen, what causes climate deprivation is population, the 83-year-old Steinem recently told a reporter. If we had not been systematically forcing women to have children they dont want or cant care for over the 500 years of patriarchy, we wouldnt have the climate problems that we have.)

[ She isn't arguing for another instance of Adolph Hitler is she ? A Nuclear war ?? Oh, oh no, we just need to kill our infants ! ]

Connected to a different hard drive

There are many factors contributing both to leftists general irrationality and to their current hysteria in the Age of Trump: their near-religious infatuation with socialism and hatred of capitalism; their warped assessment (or total ignorance) of human nature; their conspicuous lack of introspection and resulting penchant for projection (blaming others for the problems they cause); their addiction to the corrosive practice of identity politics; their rejection of Judeo-Christian values with regard to sex, marriage and family; their denial of their own policies obvious failures; and so on. But lets focus right now on just one factor, since its arguably the most foundational, and certainly the most toxic of all: hate.

[ Ah yes, HATE. The operative function of liberalism, .. as they accuse everyone else of it you see ? Clever aren't they ? ]

Theres undeniably a lot of hate on the left, a fact few even try to deny. Left-wing hate, along with its ugly older brother, violence, has morphed into a full-blown political movement, its participants wielding it as a badge of honor, a ritual of avenging victimhood, a banner of revolutionary righteousness reaching almost the level of religious exaltation.

    One little problem, though.

As I explain in How Evil Works in the chapter titled The Mysterious Power of Hate:

What we need to understand is that becoming angry and resentful is literally like stepping into an alternate dimension. You think differently, you feel differently. When youre mad, your mind doesnt work the same as it normally does. Its almost as though youre connected to a different hard drive and a different operating system with different logic.

Different because, in a very real sense, the angry, resentful you is cut off from God, meaning disconnected from your usual calm, sensible mind that is overshadowed by conscience and intuition.

Instead, youre a conduit for something else something not of God that doesnt have your best interest at heart. After all, how many people are locked up in prison because they acted under the spell of anger, did something terrible, and later came to regret it for the rest of their lives?

[ Uh oh, he's talking about God, time for all good liberals here to armour up with their hatred and declare God dead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEaL57GJy1Q . . or non-existent ]

Hate rage, resentment, extreme bitterness quite literally opens up your mind to delusion and whatever dark spirit serves up that delusion. Theres a reason the word mad means both angry and insane. If youre very angry, your mind will attract thoughts and feelings from an exceedingly dark realm.

Hate, all by itself, is a form of madness.

Why do you suppose the Arab-Muslim Middle East is drowning in deranged conspiracy theories about Jews (Jews were behind the 9/11 terror attacks, Jews kidnap and murder Christian children to use their blood in Passover matzos, and so on)? Because Islams suffocatingly repressive cultural system relies on hate, fear and intimidation. From early on, ones sense of righteousness and honor is directly tied to nursing fantasy grievances against infidels, blasphemers, occupiers, oppressors and crusaders.

[ Islam and liberalism sound like similar religious beliefs do they not ? ]

In the broadest sense, hatred itself is a grand delusion of life: What we experience while fired up with intense hatred is quite literally distorted, twisted, unbalanced, deformed, deranged an excursion into a bizarre, mental-emotional maze of mirrors. In a word, delusion. Its a really bad place to be, a forbidden, dark dimension in which God can neither guide nor protect us.

[ Which explains the bizarre things that are said so often by liberals ]

After all, the very essence of a decent and meaningful life is loving God and ones neighbor. Forgiveness and repentance are simply paramount; they are healing, life-giving and sanity-producing. But these require sincere self-reflection, something in short supply on the left, which is perpetually focused outwardly on changing society (other people) rather than inwardly on changing oneself. Ever outraged, proclaiming themselves either victims or the protectors of victims, hardcore lefties are (ironically) forever angrily condemning and shaming haters that is, anyone who disagrees with them. But in the end, they are trading their happiness, contentment and sanity for an illusion of righteousness, fueled by the toxic energy of rage.

    [ Rage against the machine is a band- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3dvbM6Pias - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWXazVhlyxQ ]

This is not my opinion. Decades of research show those on the left are far less happy than those on the right, and they are much more prone to mental illness.

[ "... those on the left are far less happy than those on the right, and they are much more prone to mental illness." ]

Yet they think you and I are deplorable and want to rule over us in every area of our lives.

    I think not.

If you agree with me, support your president with everything youve got. He single-handedly saved you from having to endure the sheer horror of a Hillary Clinton presidency, and right now, whatever his flaws, hes just about the only thing standing between you and the delusional, power-mad, leftist establishment.

George Clooney .....said, "There are no two sides to bigotry and hate." Paul Ryan has been equally generous with his wisdom on how there is somehow only one side to issues of bigotry and hatred, though there are clearly two or more cultural factions expressing diametrically opposed views on myriad social and cultural issues.

If there are not two sides to a phenomenon, then there is only one side. If there's only one side, then everyone must be on the same side, since there isn't another option. Working on such deep philosophical levels, we can then discern that those who rallied in Boston to protest against "free speech," for example, actually speak for all of us when they demand that those who express resistance to anarchy and repression and hatred on the left, and who are then attacked violently for defending cherished American freedoms, should stop speaking at all or assume the risk of injury and death through anarchistic mob violence. Remember that no one speaking in favor of "free speech" in Boston was a Nazi, or a KKK member, or a member of any other traditional Democrat-associated group. They were "counter-protested" for defending the fundamental American right to speak freely without injury from other citizens.

One must be a champion simpleton to believe that the only people who hate are those the simpleton vehemently hates. Or perhaps it is merely an herculean act of dishonesty that motivates a seemingly cogent person to say something so monumentally dishonest and stupid.

[ "One must be a champion simpleton to believe that the only people who hate are those the simpleton vehemently hates. Or perhaps it is merely an herculean act of dishonesty that motivates a seemingly cogent person to say something so monumentally dishonest and stupid." ]

...if we boil this down to a uniquely American perspective, we observe that there are two clearly recognizable sides. On the one hand, there are those Americans who recognize the necessity of the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a shield against the tyranny and oppression of a mob of frenzied zealots bent on power and destruction. Those Americans we'll call them "grown-ups" understand what the Founders knew. Sooner or later, the capacity for human vice, and the ease with which it is manipulated, will exceed the capacity for reason and wisdom in a significant percentage of the population, and there will be demands for revenge and retribution by those whose weakness has been rubbed raw.

..there are those Americans we'll call them "angry toddlers" who are emotional puppets, whose alarming mental weakness predisposes them to manipulation and misdirection dressed up as virtue. They decline mental exercises that require objectivity, reason, and actual morality, because these do not bring the desired result, which is their presumed moral primacy over those their handlers seek to dominate and control, not to mention the wealth and property of those targets. These people are not the most dangerous among us, but they run a close second because of their utter inability to process basic information and come up with a correct answer. The most dangerous are those who manipulate such people to steal what they want while pretending to be making things better.

At the heart of our social conflict, we are engaged in a total war for the soul of America, and despite the malice of people like Clooney and Ryan, there certainly are two sides. As Americans, we on one side of the struggle see the anarchists and Marxists for who they really are. They, on the other hand, see the liberals and progressives for who they are and recruit them for their gullibility and stupidity to fight us. No political philosophy has brought more hatred, death, and destruction to the world than communism, and no political movement has ever been misrepresented so fully to its "useful idiots." It is an ideology motivated by every human vice, yet the "anarcho-communists" who constitute the Antifa movement have somehow led Democrats to believe that Antifa's cause is their cause, and it must be fought by frenzied mental patients throwing bottles of urine, clubbing bystanders, tearing down statues, killing police, and attacking elderly women holding American flags.

So liberal Democrats happily and proudly rally against "free speech" for the sake of their righteousness. They are committed to eradicating the Bill of Rights for its protection of those they hate, those against whom they are deeply bigoted, those whose declared right to refuse to be owned by tyrants is the single biggest obstacle to their victory. They have decided for themselves that violence, but only their violence, is acceptable, because their motives are so "moral." Their "morality" encourages violence to achieve peace, which is akin to encouraging rape to achieve virginity. Such is the intellectual depth of the tools being manipulated by a communist movement to destroy capitalism and, with it, their own individual freedom.

To win this fight, those on the Left, regardless of party affiliation, recognize the need to falsely moralize about exercising resistance to totalitarianism, embodied by not only believing in, but practicing protected inalienable rights. That is the objective when saying something so patently absurd as "There are no two sides to hate and bigotry." It is to discourage and dishearten those who have not surrendered to liberal/progressive/Marxist/communist theology, those who have not offered themselves up to the wisdom of the state to come, which will be controlled by those wearing black clothing, hoods, and masks. It calls self-preservation against our own overthrow "hatred" and "bigotry" and treats these as morally unacceptable principles. To those on the left, those who would unseat our president and hasten our plunge from a constitutional republic to a mobocracy, there is only one side in this struggle that is valid: theirs.

Remember what the left means when it says there are not two sides to hate and bigotry. Leftists are actually saying it is hate and bigotry to resist them. It is hate and bigotry to wish freedom for yourself and your children, to demand to keep what you earn, to live your life peacefully, and to reject totalitarianism. It is hate and bigotry to live in white skin and not believe that it should determine one's future any more than dark skin should, to refuse to be owned by those whose every word and deed is itself motivated by hatred and bigotry against us. To them, refusal to accept the place in society they have reserved for us is the epitome of hate and bigotry.

We must accept and understand that we cannot win this argument and escape the impending punishment of the left's overwhelming hatred and bigotry by surrendering. If the leftists prevail, they will exact their revenge upon us for our refusal to buckle and submit. We must do all we can now to remain free, while they lie the hardest to conquer us.

Quite a rant, I'll give you that. Rather than try to gauge how much hate and bigotry my political opposition suffers (and how wonderful I and most lefties are), the better measure are these two:
-How much ignorance is behind bad public policy? and...
-How much dysfunction in public policy is driven by ignorance of "X" organization in human society?

Two examples, one a chewy nugget for the left, another a tender morsel for the right. First, some ignorance from the right:
-Public education is dysfunctional, with children from poor neighborhoods usually receiving a poor education. If the problem were "bad gov't." running education, we would see poor results in both poor and upper middle class neighborhoods. We don't see that, because the problem is caused by lopsided funding of public schools, along with more dysfunction in poor families. The solution is to fund all public schools equally (per student) within a state, and work thru the other problems to achieve the objective -an adequate education for every child, regardless of income.
...Ignorance behind bad public policy? Here, it is "gummint is bad, so public schools are bad". Obviously not true, or we'd see crappy public schools in most all middle class neighborhoods.
...Ignorance of "X" organization? This is the "poor family" and it's higher rate of dysfunction. It is going to drag down test scores when mommy smokes crack, but we can't measure this accurately until junior is going to a school that is per capita funded as well as that much nicer middle school on the north side of town.

Now for the other hand, ignorance from the left:
-Capitalism has provided such "wonderful toys" (thanks, Batman movie), but it is causing misery and low wages in the US in the last few decades. They must pay tax through the nose, through increased taxes, since they aren't paying good wages to a large domestic labor force since I can't remember when. If the problem were capitalists consciously trying to mistreat the US worker, the left might have a point. One only has to look at the business summary (fe shareholder reports) to figure out why capitalists "hollowed out" the US economy, a common phrase that BD uses. They aren't trying to mistreat the US laborer, they are trying to eliminate or at least minimize labor costs. The problem with capitalists is that the executives who practice it are supposed to minimize labor costs, and the consumer of their products (almost everyone) benefits from those lower costs.
...Ignorance behind bad public policy? The left tends to claim "capitalists need to be reigned in by gov't., which is the people's advocate". The gov't can't change the basic rules of capitalism, and the capitalist doing what they must do with labor, while the consumer (including most leftists) encouraging them to behave that way, are one of those hard & fast rules. Regulate someone poisoning others (aka, pollution), but the solution for minimizing labor costs isn't "gov't. is good". The best gov't. can do with Big Capitalism is, "let them go overseas" and change their status.
...Ignorance of "X" organization? Here, many have ignored the question, "what is the best employer, based on our current condition?" Debate the answers to that question, and we (lefties) become less ignorant of various organizations. The capitalist? A good employer if he's small enuf to employ domestic, rather than overseas. Best if he is too small to automate his production. Otherwise, look elsewhere. The family business? That's better, although they might be gobbled up by a Large Capitalist, or go public (medium sized capitalist). Same benefits and risks with the non-profit. Once the left gets a handle on "best employers", they can respond with better public policy. I have yet to see the left go radical center, and formulate the "best employer" platform, which favors small to medium sized business, whether for profit or non-profit. Gov't. as an employer is also in the mix, but the multi-national corporation is last on the list. Not to punish the MNC, just that they get fewer favors than the other sectors as far as employment support is concerned.

Not a rant as much as an expose of what "liberalism" has become.

It's become a hateful crusade OF "ranters" haters & "crusaders" for every bad idea human-kind has ever tried !

A hateful crusade OF "ranters" haters & VIOLENT "crusaders".... and ...

They're angry that their ideas aren't being so quickly accepted & adopted.

They're angry that their ideas are being exposed by history for the sick & dangerous delusions they are. That's probably why they want so badly to erase or rewrite history ....

          ---------------------------

Having unabashedly adopted the tactics of authoritarian oligarchies of the past, the Lefts demonization of their political opponents knows no bounds of propriety and civility, and their determination to transform America into their version of a socialist nirvana is now uninhibited.

          ...

Trump has, by his mere presence and persona, fully exposed for all to see the lunacy, ignorance, and malevolence of the American Left, the collectivist duplicity of the Democratic Party and the mainstream medias unabashed left-wing propagandizing. By their unbridled animosity towards Trump and inability to restrain themselves, these allied factions have dispensed with all subtlety and discarded previously successful stratagems to keep their radicalism camouflaged.

Charlottesville is just the latest example of the Left run amok and leaving all pretense behind. Whether it is the folly of transgender bathrooms, the determination to redefine free speech as being only their version of acceptable speech, the dramatic curtailing of religious freedom, the sanctioned violence and property destruction of their organized and paid for demonstrations, the madcap reaction to Hillary losing the election and their attempts to invalidate the electoral process or the incessant and irresponsible drumbeat of the isms (racism, sexism, classism) used to demonize American culture, there can no longer be any shred of doubt as to who these people are and what their end-game is.

          http://www.americanthinker.com/artic...plishment.html

          -----

          Liberals have some strange similarities...

They're atheists that despise Christians and the Christian religion, they're big supporters of sexual perversions ( called sexual "freedom" in their lexicon ) .... they want to force everybody to agree with them, and they want to make us all do what they tell us to do . . . "for our own good" !!

Because they know what's good for us - we don't !!

They even get deadly violent when people disagree with them... and then call YOU a Nazi !!

          Sieg Heil

          ------------------------------

The whole notion that fascism and Nazism are forms of sexual repression is the invention of one man, Herbert Marcuse of the so-called Frankfurt School. Himself a refugee from Nazi Germany, Marcuse was a Marxist who detested Christianity and capitalism with the same passion that he hated Hitler. In the period after World War II, Marcuse set about to mobilize the hatred Americans felt for Nazism against Americas own capitalist and Christian social and sexual mores.

According to Marcuse, America had its own form of fascism, and that was modern, technological, capitalist society. In his book Eros and Civilization, Marcuse insisted that America had established elaborate systems for controlling our sex organs, what Marcuse terms the sacrifice of libido. Marcuse blamed not merely the free market system for supposedly codifying and merchandizing sex turning it into a commodity but he also blamed religious and social mores for repressing and enslaving the sex instincts. Unfortunately, Marcuse noted, there is currently in America a channeling of sexuality into monogamous reproduction and a taboo on perversions.

          ...

Hitler also despised Christianity as a kind of disease and regularly spoke of seeking its eventual eradication in the Third Reich. Pure Christianity, Hitler said, leads quite simply to the annihilation of mankind. Let us be the only people who are immunized against the disease. While he recognized the political inadvisability of openly attacking Christianity, privately Hitler called it an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless. Of Christianity, Hitler said, The catastrophe for us is that of being tied to a religion that rebels against all the joys of the senses.

Heinrich Himmler, Hitlers No. 2 man and head of the SS, was an atheist who took his secretary, Hedwig Potthast, as his mistress.

          ...

Goebbels was also an atheist and philanderer who had a series of notorious affairs, one with the Czech actress Lida Baarova. He also wrote a play and an autobiographical novel. He fancied himself a romantic; indeed, his doctoral thesis at Heidelberg University was on the German romantics...

Himmler and Goebbels, fearful that a gay reputation would hurt the political prospects of the Nazi Party, urged Hitler to reduce the homosexual presence among the Brownshirts. But Hitler refused, saying that these things were purely in the private sphere. The Brownshirts, he emphasized, were not a moral establishment but rather a band of fighters. Why, Hitler asked, should he care what they did in the bedroom when they did the job they were meant to do?

          ....

The Brownshirts only became a problem when they threatened to displace the German police and the armed forces as the countrys enforcement brigade. Hitler needed the army and the police, and so he reluctantly agreed to suppress the Brownshirts. When Hitler showed up to arrest Rohm and his top lieutenants at the Hanselbauer Hotel, he found himself in the middle of a gay orgy. The first door Hitler kicked open revealed Heines naked in bed with an 18-year-old Brownshirt troop leader. Hitler told him, If you are not dressed in five minutes, Ill have you shot on the spot. Heines jumped from under the sheets and did the Heil Hitler salute.

When Hitlers men opened Rohms door the Brownshirt leader feigned a very casual attitude. Hitler simply told him, Youre under arrest. One by one, doors opened and Brownshirt couples came streaming out, in various stages of undress. This was the Nazi atmosphere in those days, and it far more closely resembles that of the Village Voice or the Democratic National Convention than it does the National Review or the Trump White House.

This history is relevant to refute Marcuses contention which has now virtually become conventional wisdom that fascism and Nazism were straight-laced and socially conservative. That is part of the larger myth that fascism and Nazism are right-wing phenomena. In reality, as the cultural and sexual bohemianism of the fascists and Nazis confirms, the fascists then, like the fascists now, are firmly anchored on the political left.

Either fund each child's education at the same level, or give up the fantasy that "everyone has the same opportunity". The dysfunctional family will still ensure lower test scores -on average- for lower income families, compared to the middle class. But unequal funding? That's poor business practice.

No business provides less funding for an objective, while expecting the same results.

As I said, that's exactly what they did in Texas, taking money from the richer districts and redistributing it to the poorer ones. It didn't help anything. It just assured that the poor schools had better football fields.

Football fields? Poor allocation of funds. In the less wealthy school districts, the kids need security and good teachers first, while athletics can wait. The Texas experiment failed, probably because they didn't bother to study the better public school districts around the nation, before applying it to policy. What irony; school reform failure because they failed to do their homework.

Ah yes, they failed to do their homework.

This should come as no surprise considering who it is that is supposed to intelligently run them.

Still won't do your homework, eh? Keep in mind that shelling out an eye-popping $15,000 per student is still cheaper than the 20+ grand per adult prisoner. Most districts could do a good job for well under 15k per year. Willing to do some homework? Start here:

Of course, one can ignore their homework and make claims strictly based on what they want to believe. Carry on.

Of course, one can ignore their homework and make claims strictly based on what they want to believe. Carry on.

If you think that separating good students from a poor education won't pay huge benefits for all of society, we have a greater delusion.

The fact that some kids -rich or poor- are going to live a life of debauchery and crime, means a few children won't learn from any method. It doesn't mean anything else.

Pulling in "qualified students" into better magnate schools (stated at link provided..), sounds great. .

                            But it also sounds discriminating.

This still doesn't answer why our system of education is so bad and costs more and more every year.

                            ?

Why does anything cost more every year? Multiple reasons, ranging from greed, mismanagement, increased costs, including wage increases. IOW, costs go up for legitimate and illegitimate reasons. If it needs repeating 100 times, then so be it: Study the better school systems, and everyone will understand where money should be spent, and what to avoid. Try some new ideas.

As for magnet schools, it is one of many different reforms that are needed. The most important reform is going to separate the students who want to learn from the misfits, first. Not to deny education from kids who are bent toward a criminal lifestyle, but it's important to remove that distraction (and extortion) from the "normal" classroom. That alone is going to cost more money, but it should be obvious that separating neurotic clowns & jr.criminals from regular kids will pay big dividends in the longer term. The misfit school should try to save as many kids as possible, but those teachers are going to need combat pay; much of their time is spent keeping most of the misfits above water, and out of the way of normal society.

Other improvements to education should cost little, or save taxpayer dollars, like insisting on a more vigorous parent teacher association. For those parents who can't be bothered to participate, encourage some kids at middle or high school level to take some leadership roles to advocate for younger kids; in exchange, those leaders get extra tutoring to ensure they qualify for the education (university, tech school or apprenticeship) they need, for the career they want.
